Very much in a good shopping area and also accessible for Theatres. Good restaurants in the area. Friendly helpful staff, clean and tidy public areas. Rooms clean and have all the basic needs for an overnight stay.

This hotel was nice! They had lots of food options and it’s very close to transportation. The area is safe and right next to a convenient store. The only thing we didn’t like was the bed wasn’t comfortable, too stiff as well as the sheets. It also didn’t have a fridge.

Good for 1 night

For a 1 night stay this hotel is perfect. We got an early check in which was great. The hotel was under construction when we stayed and we must have been in a room that hadn't been renovated yet. The room was a bit tired and run down, there was also a smell of urine coming from the bathroom but we could deal with it for the 1 night. The room was very comfortable, everything was very clean. The location of the hotel was perfect, just a few steps away from Tottenham Court Road tube station.

Fawlty towers

Booked this hotel because the rooms looked lovley. Got there the hotel is getting refurbishment which is not on there website or never received an email telling me this some rooms have been refurbished but not my 1 fawlty towers rooms were better also the mattress was like a trampoline ridiculous . Staff were great tho thats about the best thing and nice pint of there own lager . Then the work starts at 9am banging drilling and whatever other noise so dont stay here if you want a lie in .

Stayed at the St Giles hotel in London and though the area and location were fine, I wasn't impressed by my actual room. I know I should have expected a small room, but it was tiny. I was by myself and still felt cramped. Don't get me wrong, everthing had been updated and water pressure was fine, but bed sheet was not tucked in and there was only 1 pillow. Also since I was traveling alone, I was ok with using the 1 bath towel and 1 hand towel. Staff originally assigned me a room next door to construction, but after they called to make sure everything was alright, they moved me to another room. Unfortunately I felt like I was an inconvenience to them. Even checking out I got a feeling of leave already! I had no major complaints, but there are many options in London that may be better.

Overall great 1st experience & will definitely recommend to others & stay here again. Fantastic & convenient location that was walkable to popular areas like SoHo, Oxford Circus, Chinatown etc. Only hiccup was on my last day where the hotel system had me as “already checked out” when I hadn’t yet & housekeeping came around twice, with one even entering the room while I was inside, as they were instructed to clean the room. Not housekeeping’s fault but this definitely marred the overall experience

Can't beat the location. Super convenient for train and bus. Boots and Sainsbury right across the street.The beds were horrible - sleeping on metal bars and springs. The shower was ridiculously tiny and the toilet smelled like a port-a-potty.
