The room is small but you can tell that from the listing. The sheets were washed but some weird gross gunk was baked into them. The housekeepers definitely saw this but just made the bed with the gross sheets anyway. The bathroom had no towels so we called the front desk to get some. The front desk never answered their phone so after several attempts to reach them we had to go down the elevator to talk to them in person. The shower wouldn’t drain, it was clogged. So we had to take very short showers so we didn’t overflow the water onto the bathroom floor. The worst part was when we tried to check our bags so that we could explore the city. That’s when we found out they charge £10 per bag to check them. So they took advantage of us and charged us £40 to check our 4 bags. There are tens of thousands of hotels around the world that do not charge for this. Predatory pricing and garbage quality.

Small single room, ideal for an overnight stay. Clean and everything worked, although a second pillow would have been good. 10 minutes walk from Euston. Good breakfast and lovely staff.

The room was very dated and musty smelling. It felt unclean. No kettle or cups in the room. Cant fault the reception staff though. Very friendly and polite.

Worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Upon arrival I had no towels in my room, after requesting one I was told they have no towels. They would not be getting any until that evening. I then had to go and ask for one again and saw many other guests doing the same.There was only one roll of toilet paper, once that was gone I called the front desk to ask for more. 2 hours later and nothing, I called reception again and there was no answer. I went down to reception and the very rude lady said they had 700 rooms and guests only get one roll. The room itself was in disrepair, the bathroom door was peeling all the way down from water damage, marks and chips out of all of the walls, huge black stain all down the side of the bath, a tv that did not work correctly, the mattresses had no fitted sheets and only a flat sheet covering them, incredibly lumpy and old pillows, and very uncomfortable beds. Horrible stay from start to finish.

We've stayed here many times, but this time it was difficult. The "executive" room was small, with small windows, the facilities were lacking - no hairdryer, 2 towels only (for 2 people), etc. They even charged a considerable sum to keep our luggage for 2 hours. The only reason for the 3 stars: value for location.

Room was very neglected, carpet didn't reach the wall, flickering lights, little to no plug sockets, not even a third of a toilet roll, bathroom door splintered and falling apart, no tea and coffee making facilities and an awful smell. The lobby is lovely but that's as far as it goes. Good location but stayed in far superior places in similar location and price bracket. Would not recommend at all.
