Great hotel!

This was my first time in London and at this hotel. Its in a great location and walkable to some of the attractions. Its a big hotel and has sister properties next to it. I had breakfast one day at the Taj and it was good. The room service meal I ordered one night was okay, but not the best. I loved my room and it was pretty spacious and clean. The bed was also comfortable.

This is my pet peeve for most of the hotels during my travels and applies to this property as well - let the guests have enough drinking water in the room. 2 small bottles for 2 occupants is just not enough. We wanted to have dinner in one of the India restaurants advertised on your website and were told that it is about 1/2 hour away in a different property !!

Hotel was lovely, got upgraded without asking. Very busy at check in/out. Luxury chocolates left in our room. The only real negative comment is the lift. It was so slow and only 1 to service the whole hotel. There are notes to acknowledge there is an issue and it’s been worked on however, we didn’t fancy walking up and down 7 flights of stairs. Would definitely come back
