The property was nice and staff was friendly. Room was small with no place to put away clothes or shoes. Hair dryer was bolted to the drawer inside the desk in the room which is an odd place to have a dryer. There was barely any water pressure coming out of the shower.

Great stay

The staff were very welcoming and helpful and we got a complimentary upgrade. They also gave us a discount on the dinning room for anything. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable Location was perfect for the natural history museum or V&A.

We stayed here for the last 2 nights of a 2 week trip to England and Scotland. Our room was incredibly small. So small in fact that only one of us could walk on the floor at a time The other person had to be on the bed. We are not big people. The shower was so small you could not physically bend down to pick things up in the shower from the floor. Every time we lifted our arms to wash our hair we would elbow the soap dish. There was no type of air flow in the room. The window opened but the outside breeze did not blow into the room.

Top choice

I stay here when I travel to London for work. It's much better than the other chains. It's full of character and tends to be quieter. Staff are friendly. Rooms are clean and comfortable, if a little on the small side. It's my go-to hotel and I've not been let down yet.

Loved the property. Elevator was broken which for a 5 story hotel was difficult. Breakfast would have been better with pots of tea rather than an urn, maybe boiled eggs. But overall fantastic

Very charming property with a great outlook from our 4th floor window. 2 minute walk to Gloucester station so very easy to get around London. Plenty of supermarkets and eateries within a short walk. Would highly recommend and will stay in the future A++

Great location for SW london. Staff quick and helpful at check in. Didn’t bother with breakfast £19.50 too much for a cold buffet! Bed was comfortable, shower good but overall dated, shabby and could have done with a make over

Couldn’t have had a better stay! Very safe and quiet area to escape to at the end of a busy day out touring around London. The rooms are clean and comfortable And staff are wonderful. The breakfast is a bit overpriced For light eaters is my only comment
