Fine for one-night stay and access to train

This was fine for our one-night stay to catch a train to Edinburgh from Kings Cross Station. The room: small, on an upper floor, which made it quieter (but the luggage schlep was not so fun). The bathroom: en-suite, but down some awkwardly placed steps. It was clean, the staff were kind and helpful. Nothing extra special but nothing bad either.

This hotel is an absolute find! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The room was great - very clean, comfortable bed and far bigger than I was expecting and the outdoor terrace was such a surprise for central London! The location is perfect for travelling from Kings Cross or St Pancras as both are only a few minutes walk away. I will definitely choose this hotel for my next business trip as it had everything I needed. Thanks to the staff for being so accommodating with a late check out (for a small fee).

Friendly and efficient check-in. We had a "small double" room which matched the description. We could get round both sides of the bed. The layout was compact but it had all that was required and comfortable. Close to St Pancras station which was good for us.

Location is excellent from Kings Cross station, however the hotel itself is poor. The toilet donwstairs was filthy, the carpets nit very clean either. The staff was not too friendly and did not give us instructions how to reach the room. Please note that the hotel does not have a lift and had multiple stairs so make sure you ask where about you are located as we have been given very poor instructions. The room was small and bathroom not very clean and smelly. I think for what was given, it was an expensive accomodation and doesn't reflect the rating on Hotels.com

Good location & typical London hotel

We had a family break over a weekend. The hotel was very expensive for what it was, but that’s London i guess. The location is perfect for Kings X station. Literally a few minutes away. Reception were brilliant at check in. Professional, easy and quick. The room was fine. Nothing special, but comfortable. The heating had been left on and it was ridiculously hot, but easy enough to fix. Basic, clean with a TV and a comfy bed. Shower was good as well. We don’t pay the extra for breakfast as prefer to eat out for that sort of price and went to half cup, a few minutes walk away and was very good. I probably wouldn’t stay again at that price, but apart from that - very adequate.

The location was very convenient and the staff were friendly, but there were a few concerns during our stay. First, the heater in the room didn't work at all, so it was cold at night in London in March, when it was a bit chilly. According to the hotel, all the rooms are configured differently, so we were given a room that was completely different from the one we saw when booking on the website. (I needed a WritingDesk to use my laptop for work, but there was none in our room.)
