Weekend Break

Excellent stay at the Clermont Hotel. Staff were wonderful and the room was spacious. The only issue was the bed, which I really struggled to sleep in for the entire stay. My girlfriend however found it to be plenty comfortable enough and had no issues sleeping.

I will start with the good: -hotel is well located in an area where you can practically walk everywhere and a bus/subway station half a block down which is super convenient. -staff is nice and accommodating. However, I left a show program at the restaurant when we went for dinner and the following morning I called and no one knew anything and said they had probably thrown it away. You buy programs in the UK they’re not free so for them to not care, was a disappointment. Our room was tiny which is common in Europe but still. The bed was great though. Comfy and soft. Walls are sufficiently isolated so it was pretty quiet which was nice. The room has a coffee maker and a kettle for hot water. They stock the room with teas, hot chocolate, coffee, candy, chips and popcorn as well as flat and sparkling water all complimentary and that’s also very nice. The bathroom is super small and the shower has a half glass door so water spills everywhere. There is a heating rack for the towels which we loved. We chose to have breakfast included with our stay and we could’ve easily not have done that as we only had breakfast 2 days out of our 5 day stay because it was not good. Coffee is flat, the fruit is not ripe or good and the options are limited. They do have a little vegan station but food is bland. Overall, our stay was comfortable because of the bed, the quietness and the convenient location. I think that for the price, the breakfast should’ve been way better.

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful! My daughter left her backpack at the train station. It had a very special snuggy. And to say the least, my daughter was devastated. The women checking us in was so kind (I wish I remembered her name). Giving words of encouragement and offering a complimentary box of Clermont chocolates and a teddy bear. Side note*we took a taxi back to the train station and the taxi driver even called the station for us in hopes to help find the missing bag. He was so kind. (We did find the backpack at the lost luggage!) The free breakfast was amazing every day. Staff was so wonderful. The rooms were beautiful. Very comfortable bed, bathroom and bedroom amenities were appreciated. Walking distance to some very fun shops and Buckingham Palace. Right next to Victoria Station. I will stay here again in a heart beat! Worth every penny. Thank you Clermont for a fantastic stay.

The hotel is very close to Victoria Station and the area is busy with pedestrians and vehicles. Loved the art deco in this old property. Staff were polite and responsive to any concerns. We had a classic King room on a wing 6th floor and have never stayed in a hotel where we must have done our steps to reach the room! The hotel is far bigger than imagined and our room overlooked the bus terminus. Bathroom was so small but room ok. Breakfast was disappointing: day1: we were shown to a table with a cursory ' coffee at back, breakfast selfserve'. The focus was on a BIG breakfast. The coffee was awful and I asked for tea. We told the girl on leaving as no porridge/filter coffee. She then told us that we could request those and also different eggs etc! Why was this not explained on our arrival the previous day? Yes, it was busy but this is a 4* hotel. I had to ask for slippers and extra water. We enjoyed our stay despite these issues and the bed was probably the most comfortable we have ever had in a hotel.

A well located hotel above Victoria Station. Room has very high ceiling and is spacious. Bed was very comfortable and air con cold on a hot day. Had a very good sleep.

This hotel is dirty. After we checked in and got in to our room, the beddings specifically the pillowcases were wrinkled giving the impression that the bed was used. And in the bathroom, the trash can was full of trash obviously from the previous clients. The Front Desk Manager named Sayed was rude and not accommodating. When we asked for a better room he said “Absolutely Not. He told us that he will send someone to empty the trash.” And that was it. Unbelievably rude! The areas around this hotel has HOMELESS PEOPLE on the street. We will NEVER STAY in this hotel ever again and will NEVER recommend this hotel to anyone.
