Despite my worry the whole location was nicely air-conditioned. The staff was friendly and courteous, and the amenities were great. The location can't be better -- a walking distance to many major tourist locations and literally co-located with an Underground station that connects to all major locations easily.

This hotel is EXCELLENT! It is in the heart of London, walkable to everything and if it rains, well there is a taxi stand right outside. The hotel is clean and comfortable and the staff is friendly. I highly recommend Clermont Charing Cross!

The bed was comfortable and it was in a great location. The hotel felt very safe. The A/C was also great during those hot London days. There were a couple things that weren't perfect during my stay - not total mess ups (like some gym equipment not working, my room not getting serviced, etc.), but just tiny imperfections and Daphne at the front desk was amazing! She made me feel incredible. She had amazing service and made me want to come back. I was so impressed with her. I wasn't even complaining just talking to her and I was beyond blown away with her customer service! Would stay here again

Very enjoyable and comfortable four night stay the the Clermont Charing Cross. Room was well-appointed and fair size by London standards. Staff was attentive and helpful. Had two dinners in the restaurant; food and service were good and I thought reasonably priced for a hotel of this caliber. Location is wonderful, right by Trafalgar Square, two tube stations and a rail station. Several museums, theatres and many other attractions within an easily walkable distance. I would gladly stay here again.

Historic hotel that’s decently remodeled. They let us check in super early with no extra fee which was so appreciated!Comfortable bed, great staff, room service food was excellent. The tv options were limited and the smart apps didn’t work on the tv but WiFi was good. The location is very convenient!

Loved the Clermont. Location by multiple tube stations, the Thames and Trafalgar Square is amazing. Beautiful Victorian hotel that has been updated. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Front desk people are helpful and excellent. Would definitely stay again.

I loved this property! The hotel is absolutely beautiful and very clean. The staff were very kind and very helpful with anything that I needed. I ordered room service and it was incredibly fast. The location is amazing as you can walk to quite a few touristy locations. It’s also right in the heart of the West End where you can walk and go to a show. Many different restaurants to choose from and just overall a wonderful stay. If I’m ever in London again, I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Beautiful hotel and staff, offer needs improving

Amazing location, wonderful friendly staff. Beautiful dining room for breakfast. It was a nice touch having a free minibar, and a free top up. Though the selection of items in the minibar were unhealthy, and very basic. Poor selection of soft drinks - cola, fizzy fruit can, or water. The selection was quite limited. Could have been improved by asking in advance our preferences. Our family room was cramped for the price, and quite a complicated walk to get to - up stairs, across a bridge, then down a lift, then down some stairs again. The bed was soooo comfortable. One of the best ever. Overall it was a lovely experience, let down by price/value.

The staff was very polite and helpful. The room was ok. The water temperature in the shower was inconsistent cold/hot. The soap had an unpleasant smell. The room was far from the elevators. The air conditioning was colder in the hallway than my room. Unfortunately the area around the hotel was dirty with a lot of people who were begging and seemed homeless. It seems that being next to the subway/train station contributed to this. After reading reviews and a lot were positive. One review said they were surprised by all the positive reviews and I agree with them. I wouldn’t come back.

The Clermont is a beautiful hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is convenient to restaurants, tourist attractions and the tube. The rooms are large with nice amenities like drinks and snacks.
