The room and staff were fantastic. Building work was happening on the 1st and 2nd floors while I was there and I wasn’t informed either before booking or on check in. This was quite disruptive since it starts quite early and goes on all day. I was also informed afterwards that this is due to go on for the rest of the year so plan accordingly. I raised this with management and their idea of rectifying this issue was to offer an undisclosed preferential rate on a future stay.
