Another fantastic stay for our Wedding Anniversary

Wonderful stay. Wedding anniversary - on arrival we had been upgraded to a premium room and had a bottle of sparkling wine waiting in an ice bucket along with a handwritten card and delicious dessert. A generous touch! We had a drink in the bar in the evening after going out for dinner. Great atmosphere and we were helped in picking out some cocktails from the latest menu. Staff were all friendly. Room felt very clean. It was our 2nd time here and we will be back! Couple 34/36.

A lovely hotel

Had a lovely stay at the Mayfair Hotel. The staff are so good and nothing was too much trouble. Had a slight problem with a twin room request not being available but this was handled very well and sorted very quickly. Thanks to the check in staff. Lovely location and would certainly stay there again.

Great location. Apparently had a deluxe room…nothing deluxe about it. Disappointing as the lady at the check-in desk knew it was our anniversary, and made a point of looking for a good room. The view from the room was a building site. Bathroom was fine except that the position of the shower means the bathmat gets soaked every time.

We have stayed in this hotel before but this time there was building/construction work going on all hours of the day/evening just outside the property which did have an impact on our stay as it was extremely noisy . *ask for a quiet room at the back of hotel
