Once again, loved our stay at this hotel. This is our second time staying here and we were as pleased with the experience as we were the first time. The check-in process is easy, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The area is walkable and great with the Queensway station just a couple streets over. There is a market directly next to the hotel for any little things you may need and the area is quiet. We had an updated bathroom from the last time we stayed and the updated shower made for a much improved experience. We loved everything about our stay and will continue to return when in London

This hotel is literally across the street from Hyde park and Kensington palace, it’s a beautiful part of London with convenient access to the underground, busses etc. quick walks to the west end, Piccadilly Circus etc

Had some room cleanliness issues in the beginning but the staff took care of it. Location is good with transportation close by. Area is quiet and safe, has dining and convenience store a short walk away.

Not a bad hotel for somewhere to rest your head

We were only there for one night and as it was for marathon didn’t really utilise the hotel Only comments were the bedding didn’t seem clean clean and seemed to have black fluff on it but it was fine. The room was small but cosy The bathroom did smell a bit but not to point that it put us off as we just sprayed deodorant in there lol Bottles of water nice touch - would of been good to leave a biscuit maybe to go with the tea Short walk from train station too so that was handy I would still say it was expensive but it is London on a weekend

Room was tiny. The bed even smaller. The comforter was small. The shower leaked water all over the floor. The breakfast was horrible and cold. Hard to get coffee and couldn't 1 morning. Asked the staff for a cork screw for a bottle of wine for my wife and i and was told by staff to walk 3 blocks away and buy one. Elevators were tiny. Not a place for anyone over 5 foot 8 tall. The man that checked us in was the only nice part about our stay.

We stayed 4 days in a room in a garden view room. It was only just high enough to see the gardens so a bit disappointed but the room was comfortable and bed was great. Breakfast had a nice selection available. Staff were friendly and helpful. The Bug Bus (Blue route) has a stop out the front of the hotel which was convenient. The hotel is on the opposite side to where all the sites are and about a 30 - 40 min walk dependent on your speed. Overall a nice stay but expected a bit more

4 night Easter trip

Excellent location- across the road from Hyde park , 2 mins from tube station, 1 minute from bus stop and 10-15 min walk from Notting Hill and Portobello market. Staff friendly and helpful, room clean and comfortable, nice bed and bath/shower. Breakfast very good and reasonable price - as one an evening meal we had. Would definitely recommend.

The staff was really accommodating and very helpful overall. They even let us store our luggage free of charge when it was our checkout. The greatest strength of the hotel is that it has a view of the Kensington garden from a side of the hotel and of course is close to the bayswater station and the central line and few blocks from Oxford Street so overall great location would comeback

Great location

Great location , just mins walk to Queensway station and Bayswater. The street has lots of food options and grocery. Hotel is clean and peaceful.

Love the Thistle!

We have stayed at the Thistle Hyde Park several times. It is a great location close to several tube stations, lots of restaurants and Hyde Park for walks. There is a great breakfast and the staff are very helpful. We had a split stay at the Thistle and they were able to store our large luggage while we went on short trip to Edinburgh. Would highly recommend the Thistle and it has become our choice to stay whenever we go to London.
