The hotel was situated in a good place. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. The staff were very helpful, they kept our cases before check in and after check out. It was a really nice clean hotel and i will be using it again.

This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. The room was visibly dirty, with mold, mildew, and limescale — completely unacceptable for any guest. I ended up cleaning it myself just to feel comfortable. Even worse, when I raised the issue, the manager was rude and dismissive, offering no real support or accountability. I had two rooms booked for a 10-day stay and expected at least basic cleanliness and respectful service. Deeply disappointing.

This location was excellent as a tourist in London. We could walk to many sites, close to the West End for theater, and easy access to 2 subway stations. We loved our room, very cool during a super hot week in London!

Arrived early due to seeing a show. Managed to leave bag with hotel reception staff. There was an issue with the room which was double booked. When we came back from the show we were eventually upgraded (had to wait around for this. I would have this should have been done whilst we were out). The room was big (as was the bed). Quite a large TV to watch movies and football on

Close to everything but at the same time two blocks away from the noise and chaos of Piccadilly Circus. It is what I needed, not fancy but clean and comfortable, and very close to public transportation, and also close to the theaters. We just walked from the hotel to everywhere.

This hotel was in the perfect spot. It was well taken care of and the staff was wonderful. The only issue that I had was that the AC didnt cool the whole room on a hot day. The staff gave us fans to help, but it was still warm. Overall, this place is nice. The breakfast was wrll worth the investment as well.

This hotel was very clean comfortable and in a great location in the heart of many local sites and attractions. The breakfast was excellent offering a wide variety. The downside…charging devices in the suite. Though options were available at bedside and desk to charge devices such as phones, tablets and hearing aids, we found that only one device could be plugged in at a time. If more than one usb or phone/tablet was plugged in, the power became inactive. Hotel staff were not helpful in addressing this issue. Daily service to the room was inconsistent in terms of all things being replenished.

I gave 4 stars because they had no option to check in before 3pm. After an overnight flight you arrive around 11am or 12pm. I had to lay on the couch in lobby for 2 hours. This was after I went out for lunch. Also, I returned from Paris at 10:40am and asked for 1 extra hour to check out. The woman at front desk fought me on it relentlessly stating the rooms needed to be cleaned for the next guests. There was no way I could get out of the room in 20 min. I showed her on the room card how it states you can ask for a late checkout and told her how i waited til 3pm on the nose to check in for my room and it doesn't take 3 hours to clean a room. She finally agreed to extend my checkout an hour. This was the only downside. Rest of front desk staff was lovely. Don't expect an early check-in or late checkout at this property

Overall had a wonderful stay at the Thistle Trafalgar. The location is the biggest winner with this hotel since you have quick access to public transit and are within walking distance from a lot of attractions. It was a little confusing since the Thistle London Piccadilly is on the same street, so just be sure to double check which address before arriving. The hotel room wasn't anything fancy, but it was clean and comfortable enough for our trip. The shower is a little narrow as something to keep in mind. Also there is no fan in the bathroom and which made it a bit damp after each shower. Our visit was in the summer during the heatwave and the strong AC was amazing to have. The room also did not come with a mini-fridge if you're planning on bringing food/leftovers back. The front desk staff were great and we had no issues checking-in/out. If your looking for a budget friendly option, this is a great option!
