Used to go down there quite often...we live 45 min away for pool and is moderately priced room and food. Just to get away. This is the first time we've been there since ownership change and remodel. Not a fan!! Used to feel like an old school hotel casino. Now feels like I wanna be las vegas facility. Falls well short of that. Raised prices on everything, took out only casual dining option. Is used to love to eat at casa cafe, but now gone. Leaving your choice of limited time for buffets or extremely expensive.Find dining. In fact we ended up going elsewhere to eat all our meals... Going forward we will just go ahead and go all the way to vegas.

Poor room arrangement. AC blows directly on one of the two beds. Whoever is in that bed is freezing or the other bed is hot. No way to make it tolerable without moving furniture around to block the direct blast of air. Long walks from room to parking lot. They make the only way in/out through the casino.

We always stay here 1 to 2 nights on our way to Vegas. The hotel and casino are ok. Rooms are pretty out dated and so is the casino. They did do some updating with a buffet....but not to tasty. Steakhouse was only open certain hours so we had to find food elsewhere. We did have a pizza at the Cup i believe? And it was pretty good! Price was ok for 2 nights and the pool area was great! But drinks are pricey there. Food, coffee gas and Wal-Mart close to casino. Overall was a good stay.
