The was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay. We did not have any bath sos. I asked the front desk to please bring some but it was never delivered. Also, if I was approaching to book a room without a reservation, I would have thought twice because the trash can near the front door was very full. The next morning, that same trash bin was overflowing with trash. Overall we enjoyed our visit and would not expect to have those mishaps during our next visit.

Eh, great location but some signs of age

GOOD: Breakfast was great. Location is great for accessing Everglades. BAD: Property is simply not very secure- hotel side door was stuck open. We had to pull our door closed or it would remain open. The pool has no security- you enter from the outside of the hotel and there is no key card reader or anything. There were two tvs in our room (one in front of the bed and one in front of the couch/pullout) and one remote, which is just weird. Night front desk staff was responsive but definitely did not enjoy their job.

I was shocked to find the breakfast ended at 9am which is earlier than most hotels we’ve stayed at. For such a large lobby dedicated to eating it seems wasteful to only have it open so briefly.

The place is clean and nice. The only issue is that they ran out of hand soaps or bar soaps. No one answered the call so I went to the front desk, but the staff just couldn't find any soap around.

To be a property by Marriott, I expect more. The hotel charges $10 per night parking and $50 per night incidental fee. The security is supposedly virtual. The hotel has an extremely small area where they sell drinks and snacks. It does not justify $50 per night incidental fee. When I questioned the fee, I was told it is also a security deposit incase there is damage to the room. I have stayed at this property a few times because of the location and have only paid $50 per stay. Apparently, this has changed. As far as the property itself, the carpets are old and the beds are uncomfortable, very hard. The breakfast mainly consists of bagels. There were 3 hot pans; even though, there was no food in them. During my previous 3 stays, I have had to change rooms (ac not working, wrong room type as booked, dirty room, etc.). I strongly suggest looking for another hotel, as I will be. I have tried too many times with this hotel hoping it was just a one time occurrence, but things are not getting better. It is sad because the staff is nice and the location is good (at lease in my case).

My husband suffered a traumatic brain injury and I had paperwork to state the injury. But this hotel would not cancel my room nor work in a refund or credit. All other 26 lodgings refunded our payment in full due to the injury. Expedia even said they would refund it IF the hotel agreed, but they did not.
