Comfortable clean rooms

Rooms good. We’re both seniors. Gave us room furthest from front desk. Breakfast only breads coffee juice. And no where to sit. Staying here on 8th again. Will address then.

I booked this property largely due to free airport shuttle. Supposedly thier shuttle was not working so we had to pay $30 for a taxi to bring us there. Interestingly a shuttle to the port was available for $15 the next morning.

The airport shuttle brought me to the wrong la quinta hotel. Another shuttle had to bring me to the right one. Room was clean. Area is good. A lot of places to eat in walking distance. Booked for one night, because we had to catch a flight.

The description of the property said it 2.62 miles from airport and it wasn’t. It did not say it was an outside property in a very bad area. The breakfast did not have enough food so we had to go elsewhere. I would never stay at another LaQuinta hotel.

They put us in a handicap room, which was all right, but the shower was a hand held wand that couldn’t be put into upper section to use because a bracket was missing. Also we were told a shuttle would pick us up from airport. They said shuttle was not working this week .it added $30.0 Otto our trip to get to the hotel.we asked about a credit for the added expense and the manager just shrugged his shoulders, and smiled. I think we should get a credit for this service that was told we should’ve had transportation from the hotel to the airport as stated

One night for cruise. No free shuttle pick up when called we were on our own take Uber cost $15 vs taxi $35. Easy checkin, eats around McDonalds, Wendy’s, Dennys there are no mini marts near if looking to grab a snack. Room clean, beds comfy. They do use 3rd party to get you to cruise port $15pp.

Property is nothing to write home about. But i am very disappointed that when I arrived at the airport and called for the complementary hotel shuttle they advise me that they do not have that service available and i would need to take a taxi and pay for it myself. I felt such was very deceptive.

I booked this hotel through Expedia.com for one night payment was made via my credit card. Upon checking I was asked to produced a credit card to be placed on file for a security deposit of $50 US which would be refunded upon checking out I am yet to receive such also shuttle service to and from the airport is not as stated in the listing

Having the strip mall next to the property gives you plenty of food options besides the Wendy's or McDonald's. Bed was nice, the room was decent sized. They did let me check in early, just got off a cruise and arrived at 12pm but they let me in at 1pm, had time to go grab a bite. Not having the shuttle service (why I chose the property) incurred further costs. The door to the room sticks and the weather stripping around the base is pretty mich non existent so had to put a towel under it to keep the air inside cool. Also fixed the toilet handle, was not installed properly. The lot is lit but not bright enough, had people conjugating in the parling lot. The breakfast has limited selections. Overall for the price its a good stay if they would of had the shuttle service available, with that extra cost but the room over 150 bucks. Could have lived with everything else if that was an option. I give it a 4 only because they let me in early, I was dead tired so I appreciate that, customer service is most important factor to me in a review. Thanks
