Enjoyed dining in the Bluefork Restaurant. Supper was great. Afterwards walked to nearby Target & bought some snacks for the evening. The pool looked inviting but arrived too late for a dip. Staff were friendly and helpful. They answered questions about the area. A great stay.

Shelly at the front desk checked us in. She was fabulous. Her customer service was on point. We arrived early and rooms were not ready. She delivered the news to us in a professional manner and made sure we were comfortable as we waited. She got us into our room as soon as possible. The wait was not very long at all. We were greeted so politely and taken care of by Samantha at the front desk; she's an outstanding employee and honestly for her level of service she should really be working at a much nicer hotel than this.  That was the nicest part of our stay.   The only other bright spot was that the a/c functioned well and we didn't have any issues with it.  It was all downhill after that.  The location of the hotel is very close to the airport but the surroundings are extremely sketchy.  Do not think you will be taking an evening stroll around the neighborhood; you and your possessions may not make it back to the hotel.  When we arrived on our floor, the hallway smelled musty and damp... unfortunately that continued into the room.  When we got back to the room after dinner to take showers, the shower was absolutely pitiful, no water pressure and an odd flow pattern that didn't change much no matter how much you moved the flow modulator.  On to the bed.  Hard. Lumpy. Coils galore.  The sheets were rough and cheap. An absolutely horrific night's sleep and impossible to get comfortable.  Appreciate the free breakfast but didn't eat any of the powdered eggs and went to find a real breakfast in MidTown.  Wouldn't stay here again if you paid me.  Samantha, Marriott should be promoting you and paying you more at a better hotel.  Wish I could have left a nicer review for your sake but that was a dreadful room and hotel.

Waited for the shuttle for well over an hour. Surprisingly the hotel's entrance has stairs, not sure how luggage supposed to get in. Person at the front desk was neither helpful or nice. AC in the room is hard to regulate. The list can go on. Basically one of those places to try and never come back.
