The room was nasty with clumps of hair in the coffee bar area and dirt and dust enough to write your name in. The staff were very impolite when I told them about the room. And when I asked for another room that was clean. Suddenly they had no rooms left even though there parking lot was empty. I then asked for a refund from the gentleman who I just paid for the room less than a minute ago and again suddenly there was no manager on site to give me a refund. I then called Expedia and they also gave them a hard time about the refund stating no mgr was present to issue a refund. It took until 10/29 /25 to get my refund from the hotel. I wouldn't recommend that place to my worst enemy. I don't see how they are stii in business. I'd give them a negative score.

Place very clean and quiet. Bed comfortable than most places, but blankets and pillows need updating. Bathroom fixtures suffer from hard water, so shower was problematic to turn on. Room temperature very comfortable. I didn't even need the heat until the 3rd night stay. We didn't have breakfast so I can't comment on that. Ok place to just rest your head, but Place just needs to be updated.

Never been treated as badly by any other private business as I was at the Budd Lake Days Inn. They knocked on my door when I had a Do Not Disturb sign on, told me that they had a right to enter when I asked them to come back later, then told me that I had to be out by the next day when I apparently didn't show enough glee with this shoddy treatment.

Avoid this hotel...the worst ever

Staff was very rude and non accommodating. Breakfast was a joke. Front desk was one of the most obnoxious people I have ever dealt with in all my years of travel. We used to stay there often and it was not bad ..but now forget it. We met a few others in the elevators who had the same complaints....stick with Baymont or spend the money and go to the Marriot.

I called 2 nights prior to arrival for a room change, King bed to Standard 2 bed room, so my daughter could share the driving and visit my niece. I was told they were full and could not change the room reservation, King bed. I arrived on the reservation day and was assigned a standard room with 2 beds. The parking lot was 1/3 full and rooms were available. I did not get a King bed and my daughter would have been able to come with me on the 5 hour ride. 2 mistakes that would have changed this review.
