Location: Convenient as it is near Port Authority Bus Terminal which makes it easy access to transportation. There are many restaurants (especially pizza) nearby as it is near the Times Square area and Theater District.
Hotel condition: The room is in good condition, not flawless but not shabby either. It is rather a small hotel, with 5-6 rooms in each floor. Using the elevator can be challenging especially during rush hours (i.e. check out times). Overall the hotel was in good condition.
Breakfast: Food items are good, but the breakfast area can get crowded and uncomfortable. On our 2nd morning, we didn't even get to eat because it was so packed.
Staff: Staff are friendly, nice and accommodating especially front desk person named Touria and the bellhop Freddie. They were some of the best I've ever encountered. They kept our luggage safe, allowed us to check in early and check out late (for free), gave us potato chips and water, and provided a crib for our 2-year old. You can request a mini fridge and the crib.
Amenities: They use Dove for body wash, shampoo, conditioner and lotion and they smell really good. At check-in, they gave us 2 bottles of water and a bag of potato chips. At check out, they granted us a request to have 2 bags of chips for our 2-year old. Mini fridge and crib available by request.
Pricing: It was one of the lowest in the area, but the frustrating part is everything in New York is around $300 a night. New York pricing is ridiculous.
