Compare Winery Hotels in Oakland Park

The Cooling system in our room did not work. When we arrived the room was at 62 degrees and we could not turn the heat on to bring the room to a normal temperature. We shut the system off and hours later found a big puddle of water leaked on our luggage. The view was beautiful but the room temperature is a critical component to enjoyment of a hotel room.

Our room looked like prison cell. The room was beaten up to an extreme degree. The sink, tub and toilet were stained with rust. The actual tub and sink has rust spots through the metal base. The bed was clean and freshly made up.

My experience at the diplomat in Hollywood Was by far the worst experience I’ve ever experienced at a hotel when I checked in they gave me the wrong room. I had to come back to concierge three times from the 23rd floor, which was such a hassle and also took almost an hour and 30 minutes just to get checked in fully when I came in an hour early for check in to finally be assigned the right room on 26th floor. The restaurants are set up so gratuity is already included so staff has no urgency or kindliness towards recipients. Had the worst experience at the restaurant. Food took over two hours to come then once the food came it took 30 minutes for them to give me silverware my daughter food was cold by then. I had to complain to the manager, which then he did try to make my experience better claim that they were very short staffed and this is why this situation happened but the next night I went to the same area to have dinner and it was the same experience to hour wait for just simple burgers. I could honestly say the diplomat is not worth the amount of money you’re paying to stay there. I personally will never be coming back here, though the hotel itself is beautiful. Staff and workers are terrible.

Clean room with beautiful view and balcony. I didn’t know the restaurant was only open for breakfast and the only way to get lunch is to drive somewhere. You did have the option of a free shuttle for dinner places. Besides the lack of restaurant options, it was a great place to stay!
