We were told by management we'd get a refund after a multitude of issues. The management said to follow up by submitting a review and promised refund we have issues with the keys multiple times I had to return to the front desk to get the keys programmed because they weren't working! they weren't working for the room or for the pool area and I had to deal with a very loud fire alarm that went off due to construction noise in the lobby.

The facility was nice, although there was only one staff member working the evening shift — a peak time when many guests were checking in or needed assistance. While he was fantastic and did his best, it was clearly too much for one person to handle, and this seemed like a hotel management issue. The AC wasn’t working in the lobby or the breakfast area during our stay. On the first day, there was no hot food at breakfast, and although they offered a slight discount, I felt it wasn’t sufficient. There were also not enough towels in the pool area. That said, the complimentary early check-in and late checkout were fantastic, and access from the Fort Lee area was very convenient. Overall, it was a pleasant stay — thanks in large part to the one staff member who went above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome and comfortable, despite several facility issues.

One thing I didn't like was the gym was very small. I did like that the dumbbells went up to 75 lbs but there was no bench available to use.

This hotel was good. Unfortunately their bar / restaurant was closed for renovation. It was a clean place to stay. The room was very damp to start with and took a while for the A/C to dry it unless I wanted to turn it so cold it would freeze me out. Recommend staying in rooms that do not face the highway because it's noisey.

I recently stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Ridgefield Park, New Jersey, and unfortunately, it was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I've ever had, certainly not what I would expect from a Hilton property. Upon arrival, there was no functioning air conditioning in the lobby, and the heat was nearly unbearable. Once I got to my room, I was faced with a loud, disruptive noise from the AC unit, making it very difficult to rest. Additionally, the room had a noticeable unpleasant odor, which made the environment even more uncomfortable. To make matters worse, there was no water offered at check-in, something I’ve come to expect as a basic gesture of hospitality, especially at a Hilton hotel. Overall, this stay fell far below the standards I associate with Hilton. It was a major disappointment and left me questioning the level of quality and service at this location.
