The manager Ant was great. I was there and needed to do some laundry.. they sell it at the front desk but they were out… so Ant gave me a box of their commercial detergent. Hotel itself is well maintained, just a little older… Room was a little dusty, I dusted it myself. Most of the people staying there were long term guests, or hurricane victims. The hotel would clear out early bc most everyone was going to work. I liked the night front desk lady too — she was tall like me and had a very dry sense of humor, which I found hilarious. There’s a reason this place is always booked solid, and it has nothing to do with the room. It’s the people working there. Tons of food options nearby, convenient to Tampa & St. Pete & Clearwater Beach (pretty much equidistant to all 3 areas), and great staff. I’d stay here again.

Incredibly friendly and caring staff. Jessica at the front desk is amazing at her job. The room was clean and very comfortable. We loved the kitchen. It was like being at home but better.

Nice staff but needs care

This hotel is in desperate need of care. The staff was super friendly and helpful, but everything was dingy and in need of replacement, in a way that makes you question if it’s ok to put down your bag. The hallways and my room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. The sheets and towels were clean, and the bed was perfectly fine. It is right next to several other hotels so next time I’ll pay a little more to stay down the street.

Charge this charge that

The frond desk clerk who checked us in was rude. Everytime the staff opens their mouth we’ll be charge this we’ll be charged that. Front desk called me to take my trash to The dumpster if I left it outside I’ll be fined. I was not informed that. In most hotels they tell us to leave trash before room service starts so housekeeping can pick it up.
