This property was amazing. We could not have asked for a better location or stay! We say dolphins and mantees from the balcony and a wide variety of lizards and birds! The pool was amazing!

What a beautiful condo!!

The people who left the negative reviews must have stayed at this unit prior to the renovation. During our stay in August 2023, the unit looked like it had just been renovated. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt lucky to be one of the first ones to stay there. Everything in the unit looked high end and expensive, from the new countertops throughout the kitchen and the bathrooms, to the new cabinets, to the appliances, to the furniture. The unit was super clean and tastefully decorated with a minimalistic yet classy style. We loved that it was facing the channel vice the gulf side because you feel like you are literally right next to the water. The channel also had a little beach and we enjoyed switching between that and the beach on the gulf side. Check-in was quick and easy and the resort management folks were a pleasant to deal with. One thing I would note is that there is a restaurant across the channel that had live music playing until 10-11pm each night (later on weekends). This is, of course, was no fault of the property management, and it didn't hinder us from being able to enjoy the unit as much as we did.

Needs work

Where to begin? I typically don't give bad reviews but people need to be warned. I can deal with less than perfect accommodations, but the master bathroom may have a mold problem. Above the shower the ceiling is discolored black. I have photos. Upon arrival I noticed a strange smell. I assumed it may be due to the unit being closed for a long period of time. I immediately opened the doors and windows to let in some fresh air. This helped a little but the master bedroom still smelled. The next morning after taking a shower and drying off I noticed something on the towel. It had a dirty area. Upon closer inspection it appeared to be mold. Disgusting. I then noticed all the towels in the master bath had the same discoloration on the folded edges. Again, I have photos. I no longer could force myself to use that room. Fortunately the main bath has a shower. Even with keeping the windows open as much as possible the smell returned. Luckily it was February and the temperatures ranged from 50 through 77 degrees so the air conditioning wasn't necessary. Due to Covid, I was traveling with disinfectant sprays and wipes which were helpful in removing the stale smell from the air, albeit temporarily. I won't repeat the other reviewers comments but I found them to be accurate. Overall, I cannot recommend this unit. It is a shame because it has potential if the proper work were to be preformed.

Not our first time to Land’s End...

We love Land’s End & sunset beach. However, we were very underwhelmed with our unit. It was very dated, which is fine, I knew that when I booked it. What I didn’t know was there was a mold issue in the master shower & overwhelming smell of mildew in the entire unit...like an old dank basement. Not good since 2 of the 3 of us have asthma.
