We loved the Huntingdon. The hotel was in the perfect location for easy walking to the museum, the beautiful Parliment building and along the harbor. The staff was wonderful and very helpful

Great location - close to attractions, shopping, dining. Bed comfortable and hotel quiet at night. Free breakfast was ok but get there no later than 8:15 or you will have to line up. Very inconvenient that breakfast items cannot be taken out of the restaurant, particularly is you are on the go and don't have time to line up. Asked ahead of time for early check-in (1pm) as I was arriving at 10am from across the country. They would not accommodate which I thought was poor customer service. Also surprised at the proliferation of signs throughout the hotel reminding guests to tip the staff. Poor taste.

I have no complaints with this property or its staff. It is approximately an 8-minute walk from the ferry terminals and downtown, but still away from the congestion of downtown. The history of the building adds character. The only negative is construction is ongoing between the hotel and the water. The construction does not impact operations, but partially blocks the view of the bay. That is the reason I gave 4 stars for the area around the hotel.
