There was demolition of a building going on across the road. The noise was to be expected - it started at 6am. Hopefully it will be finished soon.

Hotel was handy to everything and service great... Downside was no air-conditioning and the evenings were very warm and stuffy. The bed was like sleeping on a trampoline! The bed in 415 needs replacing. Staff were great.

This location was ideal. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. I would especially like to give praise to Lily who was working in the restaurant. She was so sweet and even vouched for us on a mixup at checkout regarding how many times we ate at the restaurant. She knew her customers. I would recommend this Hotel to anyone wanting to explore Wellington as you can walk to a lot of places or use the cuty bus 1/2 block away.

Construction around is very noisy.

The hotel is perfectly placed you can walk everywhere easily from here. The down side was that there is ongoing construction near the hotel and from 7am or so there is horrid construction sound on week days that made the whole experience not as great as it should be. The hotel is otherwise excellent as is the service

Great position, very close to everything you need and things to do. The staff were exceptional and very helpful. There was however building works going on across the road from 7.30am except Sunday, the room was quite warm with no air conditioner and the shower had a tendency to flood a bit. Overall it was ok.

Room was good though the building works nearby were noisy, fortunately they didn't start until 7.30am. Shower over bath was surprising and was awkward for older people. Very low shower too. Very handy to restaurants and central city.

While this property has a dated aura, it was exceptionally convenient for my purpose. my meal in the restaurant was excellent and I would definitely use it again. My reason for a low score for around the property is because Wellington in general looks tired and grubby
