Lovely Stay

Great location. Walking distance from museums and most sites, but also close to many tram stops if you prefer not to walk. Clean and pleasant room. Good air conditioning. Great shower. My only criticism is that the bathroom (at least in our room) had a glass door so there's not a lot of bathroom privacy. Other than that, a lovely hotel for the price.

The room was clean, although housekeeping missed our room on two days despite us turning on the “clean up” button. The rooms are quite close to each other, which made it less quiet at times. That said, the room had everything we needed as described. The only downside was the water pressure —it could have been stronger. As for the staff, one night we asked for some cups and coffee capsules since our room hadn’t been serviced. Strangely, both men from the reception came together to deliver just two paper cups and a few capsules. It wasn’t a problem—just a bit unusual!

Great hotel and location

First of all, Graciella at the front desk is a wonderful ambassador for Notting Hill. She needs a promotion and a raise! The hotel is an easy walk to the museum district and close to dining options - not to mention about a block away from a tram stop so getting to/from the airport is a breeze.

Very nice hotel

Great stay in De Pijp

We had a great stay! The location was perfect—in the De Pijp area and close to the Albert Cuyp Market and restaurants. Our room overlooked a canal and a bridge, which made for great people-watching. The space had good natural light, and the bathroom was surprisingly spacious. A great base for exploring Amsterdam!

Huge issues with hotel room keys not working each time we would come back to hotel, this happened daily sometimes 2x per day. We came after 10 pm one evening no one is at the service desk and we cannot get into room. We had to ring a bell 5 times to have someone assist us. We waited 30 minutes. They did not give us any compensation, just 2 bottles of water and a goodie bag that had nothing of use. Overall it was a nice hotel good location.
