The staff is great! The hotel itself has a lot of little things that need to be addressed. It looks like the repairs are half done. One of the main reasons I booked this was for the laundry in unit, but ours dryer didnt work.

"We had an excellent stay at your hotel, and we especially want to praise the outstanding and friendly staff. The breakfast personnel, in particular, was exceptional—remembering our names and making us feel welcome each morning with a pleasant and accommodating attitude. The food in the restaurant was also a highlight, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals there. The location was perfect for us, with easy access to both the pool and the beach. Our room was clean and tidy, and we were thrilled to have a small view of the ocean. Our only minor constructive feedback is regarding the service at the pool bar. While the area was not busy, we found ourselves needing to go to the bar area directly on a couple of occasions as servers walked past without acknowledging us. On one instance, an order was forgotten, which we had to ask for again. We understand that some issues can be seasonal, and it was certainly not the fault of the staff, but it's an area where service could be improved. Overall, we had a fantastic and memorable trip, thanks in large part to the hotel's amazing staff."

Third time we have stayed here. The service is impeccable. Especially Nicole at guest services and all the ladies in charge of breakfast each day. Only thing I would like to see done differently is for the pool and hot tub open later. Rooms are great. Beach is easily accessible and employees are warm and very friendly. Anytime your in Pompano Beach it's a must stay!

The pool area and beach area are rather small, but very nice. Still managed to have the feel of a resort. The staff was all very friendly and personable The only negative is that (and maybe this is on Expedia?) when I booked it made it look like there was a one time $35 resort fee, but that was applied every day, as well as $35 for parking every day. Expedia should have been more upfront showing the actual total for the whole day, including this daily $35 resort fee It is valet only. If you call down for your car ahead of time, the valet works pretty efficiently.

What a quaint upscale feel to a chain hotel experience. The beach view had a private beach entrance. Patio had a cool vibe. Staff was outstanding. The front desk was more than helpful and (Grandma) the breakfast lady had me feeling great every morning. You must check this place out

Nice relaxing stay with a great view, walk up beach property.. The breakfast and $20 food credit from the $35 daily fee is a must.. Because there is nothing in walking distance around it for food etc. or night life so the in-house restaurant and free breakfast is a plus for that reason but they not open everyday(restaurant only)... I did have issues with my T.v and W/D that was broken and leaked everywhere.. but was addressed quickly by staff.

Residence INN by Marriott on Ocean Blvd. in Pompano Beach should be your #1 & only choice when booking your next trip. My stay at the Residence Inn was AWESOME! Ron, Janelle, JC, Daniel, Carlos, Grandma Kat & staff gave me top tier customer service & were welcoming & accommodating. I stayed in a beautiful studio with a balcony & ocean view. The suite was clean, cozy, & comfortable... Including all the amenities I love: 1. full kitchen 2. washing machine & dryer 3. work station & more. Everyday the friendly cleaning staff made sure I had fresh linen for my bed & clean towels. There was free breakfast every morning. Throughout the day there was a resteraunt with delicious food & drinks. The Residence INN location is also minutes away from local food/shopping centers & places to eat. If you're looking for a beachfront hotel with a pool, jacuzzi, spacious rooms, & lots of amenities... this is the place to book. The highlight of my stay there was waking up every morning at 6am, sitting on the beach, & watching the sunrise with breathtaking views of the sky & ocean. Residence INN by Marriott will always be my choice when I come to Pompano Beach, Florida.

Very disappointed with our stay. The room was unsanitary with bugs and severe dust that triggered a health issue. A staff member entered without knocking, and another was asleep at the desk when we needed help. Basic amenities like the sink, TV, phone, and internet didn’t work properly. Definitely not up to Marriott standards — would not return.

The hotel was good, the breakfast didn't have many options but it was good, the people who work there are very friendly
