Very central. Clean. Lighting is a bit harsh - they need to get some warmer lighting. The parking also gave a bit of a sticker shock.

Very disappointed. The hotel asked, prior to my stay, if I had any requests. One that was offered was a room that was quiet (away from the street, etc.) and I asked for a quiet room..."quiet would be nice." The first morning I was awakened by several workers who were doing something in an adjacent room. They were extremely loud and this went on for several hours. I checked out that night...a day and a half early.

Breakfast was hit, fresh and excellent variety. Room was clean, quiet and well maintained by housekeeping. Staff, from front desk to maintenance were friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Parking was underground and safe.

Room was comfortable with nice view of the Marina. Drinks at the restaurant was nice but service very slow. Check in and check out were excellent.

Good location close to union square. Beautiful lobby and reception area. Attentive staff. Stayed with a family of four sharing two double beds which were both comfortable.

I’ll take the hit for not better preparing myself for the terrible parking situation. For those that haven’t been in downtown San Francisco in a while it’s as disgusting and urine filled as ever. I wasn’t excited about the $40 tourism charge upon check-in even though I had prepaid on Expedia. And the staff said that it was a $20 overnight parking fee…… It was over double that…… the room was clean for the most part except underneath the bed was absolutely disgusting, and I only knew about that because one of my kids toys rolled underneath there. The continental breakfast was absolutely terrible. If you show up anytime after eight, don’t expect there to be anything. I do not recommend anybody stay here.
