Excellent location, but the decor was a bit outdated or worn off. The clock in my room was blinking (not reset), and one of two lamps by the bed side was completely unplugged ~ likely used by the previous guest to charge their phone. The lady who was checking me in was behaving in a bid odd manner (asked if I need to use a restroom while waiting for check-in). She volunteered to share an incorrect information with me about certain laws in CA, or at least San Mateo county. However, the information was 100% incorrect.

Clean room. Hotel offers secure parking. Felt safe but location has a few homeless sleeping on streets nearby. Good value for location

Excellent breakfast. The room was spacious and clean. Our room faced the main road and was noisy. At 4.30am there was a lot of noise each morning from a truck doing something in the street. Tram noise started early.

A/C was not working during my stay.

Super nice location for Berkley visits and more. The hotel is nice but older, the staff is wonderful and cookies are super good. We had breakfast in the morning and the service was excellent and very quick. This is a great place for a weekend getaway and maybe if you have a marina boat tour. NOTE: Why I didn't give this property full score, is because they add $45 per night just to park your car. This is extension at the highest. This will always be a black eye on this location in my opinion.
