Great location, bit run down

Awesome location but shower has minimal pressure, pretty run down and dirty outside. Tents set up in park across the road

Good place to stay

Always a good place to stay. Always clean, bed very comfortable, easy access internet. My only real criticism is that I’m 5’2” and the dryer (in my apartment ) was about 5’1” above the washer which means I’d have to use a step ladder (of a chair which is not safe) to access the inside of the dryer. There was also flaking paint in the bathroom which is an easy fix. The apartment complex is within easy walking distance to train stations, South Bank, restaurants, cafes, bars, museums, Brisbane river ferries and the city centre is also within walking distance. This was my third stay and I’ll return again. You need to book well in advance as the apartments are constantly booked out.

The proximity to the convention center, restaurants, and many attractions was amazing! I was able to walk everywhere. The property was also safe and my room was refreshed every day!

Brilliantly located for the South Bank area and city centre. Slightly dated but spotlessly clean and comfortable. An excellent choice for the price.

We were put in a room that was below the road level. From the external glass door we were exposed to the street foot and car trafic and from the upper offices across the road. We had to keep the external door locked and the curtain drawn. We constantly heard street noise and people coming and going through the entrance. The air-conditioner had a thumping noise so we had to turn it off we had no other heating. The bathroom exhaust fan did not extract the steam even with the door slightly open. The toilet roll holder was falling off the wall. When I opened the cupboard the ironing board fell out and hit me. The receptionist was nice but could not help except to report to managment. We heard nothing.

Particularly good for the Convention Centre

This was very functional. Just up the road from the Convention centre (which was the reason I was in Brisbane) so worked very well from that point of view. Unit was fine - small courtyard & the only 'downside' was that the fridge was either too warm or too cold. Apart from that, everything went well.

comfortable and great location

Once we got in, we didn't receive the email with code to access our swipe card after hours, we found ourselves in a spacious and reasonably comfortable apartment. Nearby is wonderful eating options and supermarkets. Public transport was in easy walking distance. Southbank and all the art galleries and theaters, and other touristy things.

Ideally situated apartments

Just six minutes' walk from the Brisbane Convention Centre, which was ideal for us. The room was equipped with a kettle and a microwave, on the ground floor, and with a balcony overlooking the common area where there were tables and chairs. There was plenty of room and the bed was very comfortable.

Not bad at all, but could have been great. I wasn't sure how the contactless process would go, but it was well organised & easy. The room was quite nice and there was plenty of parking. But there were several issues: my room was right next to one of the building entrances, so all I heard for hours was slamming doors. There was also an unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom which others have mentioned. Finally, it was very awkward leaving in the morning - you need the swipe card to exit the carpark, but have to drop it in the return box and run back to your car before the gate closes. Too bad if you get locked in without your pass! Instead I parked around the corner, re-entered the building and dropped the pass off - way too risky & this needs to change. But I would consider staying here again.

When I did the "After- Hours" check in my husband & I were only given 1 key in the drop box so this meant only 1 person could leave the apartment. There was NO staff there until Monday morning. I find this a bit strange.. The apartment itself was perfect & was in a great location.
