Given the area, we expected this property to be better. The rooms and common areas are in desperate need of a renovation. The smell of mold and unclean air is very prevalent. It's not good.

This hotel is old and dingy. Upon arriving I was notified that the elevator was out of order. It had been out of order fo 5 days at that point. I asked if I could have a room on the first floor. The answer was NO. Instead, I was given a room on the third floor. After making the trek up to the third floor (a really nice gentleman assisted) I was greeted with the strong odor of marijuana. The room was in need of updating. The breakfast is seriously lacking. The lobby furniture is worn and dirty. The location is great, but other than that, don’t go here.

The property is dated. The elevator was out the entire time and we had the 4th floor. Granted we only came to the hotel to sleep. Location is good. 5 to 10 minutes from Sawgrass mills malls by car. Friendly staff. Rooms are being cleaned regularly and towels changed. Coffee 24 hrs in lobby but in the afternoon/night this is already cold. A bench outside in front of the hotel would be nice. We have stayed several times here and will definetly be staying again in the future.

Elevator is broken. As a consequence, housekeeping carts are left in the hallway of the 3rd floor all day. New guests are told elevator will be fixed the next day. Do not believe that. If you have mobility issues, stay elsewhere. The walls, floors, counters, sheets, pillows and especially carpets were damp (spongey) the entire stay indicating inadequate ventilation and/or poorly maintained a/c system. Room was cool but everything felt wet which was incredibly uncomfortable. Do not walk barefoot in your room. There is also no bathroom exhaust fan which exacerbates the humidity issues. The paper notepad on the desk was so damp it was visibly warped from the high humidity's effect on its paper fibers. Housekeeping appears to be adequate but can't fix the damp. Hallway smell musty and moldy. I observed paint bubbling off the hallway walls revealing what appears to be mold underneath. "Breakfast" is almost entirely carb-based with dry cereal, bagels, toast, waffles and pre-made, rubberized egg patties which contain some egg as well as modified food starch, whey solids, and salt. The "steamer" tray of egg pucks remained virtually untouched. Expect no meat, no fresh fruit and no yogurt. Coffee in abundance. Never again.
