The mountain view is very amazing. It was also very comfy and homey.
Booked the cabin as it was the cheapest in the area. However next time will pay more for a better spot. The mattress was very cheap and worn out as were the pillows (we forgot to bring our own). Sofa was the same (run down and of poor quality). The shower head pressure could be used to cut glass and bathroom smelled like mildew (my wife’s input). I don’t think any money has been invested to make this place pleasant. I talked to a couple of other visitors and they had similar opinions. We are not wealthy fancy travellers but for the money this cabin was very disappointing. We won’t stay there again.
I have never seen such thin sheets. The sheets may be clean but holes in them. Pillows very small and flat. Bugs and spiders in bathtub and faucet didn't work well. Smoke smell in living room because of woodstove use. Overall clean but with the age of the facility and the furniture, it felt dirty.

Should be renamed Run Down Chalets...
Cabin 15 smelled like a smoldering ashtray and good luck finding the light switches or a plug. The property is littered with broken furniture, rusted out grills and disabled cars.
That said, the people were nice and I just needed a place to sleep/shower after hiking so it served a purpose, but I couldn't wait to get my stuff out of there and probably should have slept in my nice clean rented Ford Escape instead.
I like the rooms and the kitchen.the only one i dont like is the sofa i think have bugs on it some of my friend a lot of insect bites in her body

This property was older than the pictures showed and it was extremely lacking in electrical outlets. They supplied coffee maker, toaster, kettle, toaster oven, microwave but no plug to use them. No hair dryer.
Great little rustic cabins. They’re old but that’s the personality of the place. Perfect little cabins.
But the bed… I slept on the couch because the bed was brutal. Which is rare for me to ever even write a review. But for future guests bring a foam topper.
For the price I would assume the bed would be a little better.
The fan was clicky and old and they’re warm. So just bring an extra fan if you’re coming in summer.
We’ve stayed in ten cabins next door before and the beds were great.
Everything else was fine.
Bar b q was unusable to say the least - lifted the lid and shut the lid - property is not kept well - never cuts the grass - Each place should have equal number of seats and picknick tables outside - cobwebs throughout the cabin - if they updated the cabins a bit would be a huge improvement. Has potential but they don't put in the effort.

Well i like rustic cabins didnt have high expectations. Shower is small for tall people and basically like showering in a tin box. The only bugs were some ants in the bathroom. Each cabin has a fire pit and chairs provided pokers for marshmallows and hotdogs. My partner wasn't a fan prefers more hotel like quality but i didn't mind it.
It was a very neat place to stay. You get your own little cabin with a fire pit. Gives you that camping in the woods feeling. Definitely could use some TLC. Paint, cutting the grass, and inside the cabin there was some water damage from the shower and a bad odor when first walked in. Could have used some fresh towels and toiletries but all in all it was a neat place to stay.
This place is a perfect option for staying somewhere affordable and comfortable. Only 15 mins away from Banff, 5 mins from Canmore. Lots of food/grocery options in those towns and keeps you close to the park for easy travel. Bed was comfy, kitchen/bathroom was clean. The woman who runs the front office was very polite and has a super cute dog. Overall, the place gives off a glamping vibe which was perfect for what we wanted, which was to stay somewhere affordable and close to the park. Cheers!
