Check in staff were helpful and incredibly knowledgeable. Quick check in with a normal key, not key card. One clean beach/pool towel available per day. Phone charger, cords, small snacks and drinks available for charge to your room. Free Keurig coffee and a wide variety of teas available all day and night right outside the front desk. Continental breakfast included bagels, pastries, fresh fruit, cereal, milk, juice, yogurt, and applesauce. They have so many plumeria trees and hibiscus bushes on site, as well as peacock/peafowl, chickens, and a loving kitty. The room was relatively clean. Some of the window sills were dusty but not a problem for me! It’s an older looking property and the bathroom sort of reflected that in that the cabinets were a little beat up, but the mirror was modern and had different lighting settings- I loved it. The shower water pressure was perfect, and the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were silky coconut scented. Great! The AC was loud at first but I quickly adjusted and it actually helped me to fall asleep. The mattress and pillows were mega comfy! Refrigerator and microwave in the room were convenient. If you’re looking for a fancy, resort-style stay for vacation, go elsewhere because this place is better for a laidback, comfortable home-feeling stay. My partner and I loved it and will be going back anytime we visit Kauai. This truly was a great place to wake up at and come back to after a day of driving and adventures.

Staff was excellent. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. They are all so nice. I would say the hotel is a hidden gem. Close to the airport and very convenient.

There were many fees that were not disclosed. For example there is a parking fee for every night you stay that is not mentioned until you reach for check in. There is also a “resort” fee that was not disclosed even though it is a hotel. So there’s an extra charge that you will have to spend outside of your package booking. Just be aware the parking fee is for every night and the “resort” fee is for each night spent at the hotel. The concierge charged extra for activities, but if you would book on your own it was nearly a hundred dollars cheaper. The room key disables the day of checkout and before checkout time, so once you leave your room you will have to ask for a new key to access inside. If you book the breakfast package be aware that they will make you pay ANOTHER fee for THEIR breakfast package.
