We had a terrible experience at our most recent stay. We ONLY chose to stay here because we have kids who were wanting to play in the pool. NOWHERE on their own site or the Expedia site did it say they were under construction and the pool/ice maker/etc. were out of service. I expressed our disappointment and even sent an email to the manager but have never heard anything back.

There is a major refurbishment going on in the hotel. The front entrance is closed and a makeshift 'reception' is at the rear of the building with a sour faced young lady taking your details.The swimming pool is closed.Workmen are ripping up the floor in the elevators literally under your feet ! Worst of all workman are 'hammering' god knows what way past midnight and into the early hours. I will be seeking a major discount. This is written on the 6th January

Staff was courteous. Our room was new. It would've been nice to know that the hotel was undergoing renovation, and that certain amenities, i.e., the pool and sauna were not available when I made the reservation though. Otherwise, no complaints.

The rooms are clean and the staff are good. They're doing a remodel currently, so it's a bit annoying, but overall I feel like this is a good place to stay. The breakfast was normal hotel fare.

Room was newly remodeled clean and comfortable.. The building was under renovations so, no pool, no, hottub, no breakfast.😢 And the cost was increased from EXPEDIA quote with varies tacked on fees made it over $200. If that is a problem for you, better to call and varify first. The front desk would not make adjustments to cost day of.

Walked into register and saw under construction no continental breakfast set up and especially no use of your pool. No warning at all an email or text would have been appreciated Will never stay at a hotel that doesn't take your clients into consideration. Got refunded immediately on the spot. Worthless

I always stay at this location and this is the first time I wasn’t impressed. The building is currently under renovations. There was a strong smell on the second floor, where my room was. Constant loud noise from the construction; workers moving things in and out of the building, the sound of a saw and other equipment being utilized early in the morning. Also, the constant slamming of doors as the housekeeper was cleaning- instead of propping the room door, she would allow the door to slam behind her as she would go back and forth from her cart to the room. I asked the front desk clerk if they notify guests before they book a room regarding the current renovations, I thought maybe I overlooked it. He confirmed that they do not.

The third floor of hotel is under construction so early morning, early evening, and daytime is crazy noisy. Overall hotel has poor insulation so you can hear other rooms too easily. People are nice. Food/coffee was horrible. Old flavorless omelet, dry and hard sausage, Coffee is a fancy digital machine but coffee is not good.
