Walking distance to st kilda beach and surrounding restaurants. Easy to get to from the airport via public transport. Room was tidy and had the basics needed :)

Room is in great location, close to the beach, has a lot of restrurants, close to supermarket and 711. Check in time is strictly 3 pm no exceptions. Room service needs further improvements, previous guest left over plastic waterbottle was under the bedside desk not cleaned. Day 1 breakfast could not serve as per the menu.

This was far from what I expected of this hotel. I booked due to its location and by the photos it looked a nice hotel for a reasonable price. The price reflected the hotel massively. The corridor to our room absolutely stunk of cigarette smoke. The hallway lights were off when we arrived leaving us to walk into a dark corridor to find our room. The actual room smelt of damp. The furniture in the room is very dated with many of the wooden bits chipped/broken. The mirror on the wall was not straight. Little things that show no attention to detail in this hotel. The toilet was broken constantly running water. Would not recommend in the slightest.

The air conditioner in our room had a mind of it's own, somewhat noisy at times and then a full on fan. We didn't do breakfast there but did have a drink at the bar which had a lovely atmosphere. The location was great, surrounded by lots of restaurants, easy to walk to everywhere.

Wifi didn't work in my room (too far away). Some guy came to check, and was gonna ask his boss for solutions. Never came back, no call, nothing. No room change or compensation offered. Had to use 40Gb of my sim card's data for 4 days.
