From check in, to getting ice, water bottle fill up in the Gym and the staff in general; the stay was perfect.
When we read other reviews, they mentioned the beds and the pillow. They were right. The pillows and beds are awesome.
The room wasn't big, but it was big enough to have a table, a couple of chairs and 2 double beds. We weren't tripping over ourselves either. The bathroom was small but used its footprint really well. The shower was great, plenty of room and great shower head.
The location, a block from the Collins Street exit of Southern Cross station is perfect for getting off the train and wheeling your case to the hotel. Check in was easy; as was check out. We didn't have breakfast included (our choice) because we knew that there were so many options outside the hotel. Crown and Southern Cross shops are near by, with South Wharf only a 15 min walk at the most. Woolworths Supermarket was at Southern Cross station with 7-11 on one corner and the other had another convenience store. There are food options on Flinders, Spencer and Collins Streets, from kebabs to fast food.
There is a Photo Booth just behind reception. You can print your photos or send them to an email or mobile number. Thank you to the child and their parent that told us about this little delight.
