Fantastic location, slept well. Room comfortable and clean. Staff efficient in our minimal interractions. Rooms outdated in presentation (renovations planned March 2026) but everything was very clean, comfortable and worked.

We booked the hotel around a week before our stay. Based on brand name and reviews we were expecting a premium experience but the hotel was undergoing a name change. Very basic facilities and average quality. Maybe the new corporate overlords want to cut costs wherever they can and it shows. From missing bin liners to smallest size of minimum toileteries to even restocking tea bags to the number of towels they provide, you constantly feel that they are trying to nickel and dime you. Room could use a fresh coat of paint. Fridge had a rail missing reducing the already small capacity.

The location is great and I don’t think it would take a lot of effort to make this an outstanding property. However, our experience was that of a tired, poorly maintained and somewhat dusty property that does not stand up to the Radisson reputation. See the photos we shared as witnessed in common areas, 3rd floor and our room on that floor. Travellers may want to consider other options while this is being addressed.

There were stains on the bedding/floor and the furniture was worn out. The shower and sink clogged very quickly. Doors closing the hall in was very loud in my room as well which woke me during the night. I could make do due to the price but on the worse end of places I’ve stayed in Melbourne at this price.
