I believe Trump doesn’t own this hotel anymore, but that’s besides the point so anyways this hotel is pretty dated unfortunately for the money that you spend for this property it should be a little bit more immaculate. The elevators are terrible. One was shut down for maintenance and it got stuck. I had to let them know at the front desk because this lady and I and her young daughter got stuck literally for like three minutes. It was so scary and then it was shaking the staff at the restaurant except the omelet maker for the breakfast was very poor! The pool was definitely decent. The hot tubs were absolutely disgusting. Those definitely needed to be cleaned out. The rooms were looking pretty rough very worn. The gym was pretty decent except the windows were broken and gross. I mean, I guess I would stay here because of the location but only if it was like $200 a night not above that because that’s what it’s worth though hope that helps.

We loved our stay, great customer service, great food service, wonderful house keeping and the beach was stunning. I must say that from the first minute that we stayed at Trump hotel we were very impressed with how clean everything is and every staff member that worked there seemed happy to work there. We had an amazing time and we will return.

Location is nice, beach is great. Service was poor - I asked for utensils once and it took them an hour to bring them. Also lots of things were missing initially, like a bathroom robe - I had to ask for it and then the cleaner took it away after a couple of days and didn't replace it. The whole place looks dilapidated and dated inside.

Let me start with the positive, it is right on the beach a the ocean view from our room was great. Other than that, the hotel is pretty run down and outdated for the price. We booked two nights but only stayed for one night. Even though we checked out a day early, Expedia will not refund my money. If you find a good deal on Expedia, I suggest calling the hotel to see if they will match that rate. The hotel would have only charged me for the one night but Expedia will not refund for the night we didn’t stay.

The Good: Nice amenities, beautiful lobby and pool area. Staff were actually really great and helpful. The beach service (getting umbrellas and chairs placed etc) was great. We purchased the breakfast option which was awesome. Breakfast is done in the main dining buffet style. That was worth whatever we paid for it. Laundry in room which we enjoyed. The Bad: The small details of the room were obviously dated. Wallpaper in the bathroom was visibly coming off the walls in the corners due to the high humidity of the bathroom and showers. You only have 2 dining options really: breakfast in the main dining (that’s it, the Italian restaurant was closed) and the beach and pool grill. So we walked across the street quite often for other dining. The Ugly: Something is wrong with the elevators lol. The door on the 21st floor for one of the elevators literally would not open which gave my wife a heart attack. If we called an elevator to our floor and it was that particular one the door was just stuck shut so we’d have to wait for another elevator. Overall just fix the elevator situation and dining options and you got a 5 star!

Staff seemed to to just have been there. They wouldn’t great, they didn’t put any effort on asking if we needed any help. I stood in the lobby waiting for concierge for longs periods of time and all they would say is he is on break. Prior to me arriving I call the concierge to plan my stay and a.
