Upon entering, the room was not ready or clean, a broom was left inside, the security door lock was broken, and there was a strong marijuana odor. We were told no room change was possible. That night, the neighboring room hosted a loud party with heavy marijuana smoking. Smoke entered our room through the connecting door and we had to put a towel to block the odor from entering. The loud music continued past midnight. We first complained at 5pm, but no one came. We had to call again security at midnight and security only arrived around 1am, after which the noise resumed anyway. The next morning, despite hotel non-smoking policy, front desk told us nothing could be done. We barely slept, effectively losing the following day due to exhaustion. A manager, said our room would be changed and that she would send a confirmation email. We never received the email, and the room was never changed. On our final day, despite a guaranteed 1pm late check-out, housekeeping banged on the door repeatedly and attempted to enter, waking us while we were already extremely tired. This is the first time we had this type of experience especially as a VIP guest.

Room was very clean. Robes were available upon request, which seemed odd for such an upscale property. A few little hiccups here and there with check in and room amenities, but other than that was an amazing view! Stayed on the 55th floor and the elevators could become a real issue at breakfast time each morning. Had to wait 15 minutes one morning for the elevator to even come. Very often the elevator would be so full you would have to pass and try to grab the next one. So, outside the few issues we had we really enjoyed the property. The food court on 2nd floor called Block 16 had a very party type atmosphere. With an open air food market sort of vibe. Beautiful property all in all
