Ottawa Alt Hotel is a good Hotel. It is clean, staff are friendly and attentive. Limited options for dining at the Hotel and it is designed for travellers on the go. Close to the OC Transpo train station which is nice. No amenities like a Pool or Hot tub/Gym. The area is not great if you bring a car. Decent hotel that is pretty well located. Overnight parking is a hassle and not always easy to find. Overall good experience for the price but there is more going around the byward market which is 20 minutes away by foot.

Great location for eashy walking to all of downtown Ottawa's sites. Lacking of on-site parking initially seemed like a drawback but the underground lot nearby was safe and secure and we didn't need our vehicle for the time we were there.
