The resort is not fully opened so eating opportunities are limited. We have been to several resorts throughout the US and this one left us disappointed. The room was small but adequate, the valet was not handicapped friendly and housekeeping was not always complete. Problems were heard but not addressed which was frustrating. I am a reader and love to find that cosy, quiet spot in the resort to read. I could not find casual seating except in the lobby or pool area and neither invited quiet reading. We put Don Cesar on our bucket list and feel sad that the week was so disappointing.

Julian at the concierge is always top notch!! Jason and Ron at the front desk were a welcoming smile day and night! Baggage is still working on getting back in the swing of things? We loaded ourselves in and out of Uber which was unusual…we’ll give it benefit of the doubt they’re still working on being back in action after the hurricanes. It’s a joy to see Dan and Marissa behind the bar again!! Love the Don ❤️

They are still recovering from a hurricane. Many options for dining and lounging were still closed off. The open areas were fine but limited. Dining choices were a bit restrictive. But the free bus to other restaurants was useful and appreciated. Beach and heated pool were lovely. Rooms were comfortable with ocean views.

I was allowed to stay ,in a piece of American art work, and access all of its inner goodies ,and high quality amenities, and get a tan at the same time-The Don Cesar has a very good method of picking its associates, because people like Julian Vazquez, lead concierge, was our guardian angel during our stay-Julian advised us on several subjects, and steered us in the proper direction-thanks to all for a great time, and keep the porch light on, so we can find our way back 👍
