Great place to stay near grand central

It’s ok

Very clean and friendly staff. Kay at the front desk was very sweet and helpful! Great location if you are planning to be in the Financial District. I selected a room with a city view on Expedia, but it's a side view only because the One New York Plaza building is right in front of the hotel. They moved me to a room with a Water view, which was great and very appreciated, but there is still the building blocking the view, it's a side view as well. All in all, a very nice hotel. Beds were super comfy!

The room was a good size with a nice bathroom - all very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good but the restaurant is fairly small and so it can get very busy. Staff were very helpful and made me feel very welcome. The only slight issue was with the lift - it’s a fairly busy hotel with 40+ floors and just 3 lifts. This did mean a fair amount of waiting on lifts but I guess it can’t be helped given the size of the building. All in all - a good stay. Would recommend.

Loved my stay! The coffee shop, rooftop bar, club, all the amenities were wonderful. Hotel was beautiful, I went with the higher floor and did not regret it. Would book again and again.

Room was spacious enough considering what people say about other hotels in NYC. Staff was as friendly as you will get in NYC, they were courteous changed me from a king to 2 queens per my request without a hitch. Also, the room they originally gave me the carpet was still damp and they just sent me 2 keys for another room immediately and were apologetic. I was very impressed with their service. Also, left our luggages with the bell service since we got to the hotel in the morning and left it again on our checkout date so we could go out in the meantime we left in the afternoon. They were great about that as well
