This property is very tired & in need of a remodel. The electrical is poor with few outlets & bad accessibility to them. The bathroom was quite dirty and the paint was bubbling in the ceiling. Most of the staff seemed to be in training so service was pretty slow. The beds were comfortable & we did enjoy the hot tub.

Very clean hotel and the staff was very nice. They even seated us for dinner when they were 10mins away from closing! I was unaware of the owner’s hobbies… there were numerous photos of his hunting adventures and his trophies were mounted on the walls everywhere. I’m just not a hunter. A place called a “hotel and spa” doesn’t sound like it would be decorated in such a way. It was a bit surprising, but the room was great!

I'm desperate need of updating. Bathtub did not drain and was very slick full of water (even after letting them know it wasn't draining-the response was that she was not a plumber). Light bulbs missing, hooks for art minus the art. Better off to stay at the Best Western across the street.

More attention to the rooms condition is needed

The restaurant was great! The dinner we had was great. The continental breakfast was good. The esthetics were awesome and very interesting (in the restaurant, bar and lobby). but now to talk about the room, we were in #123. The entrance from the parking was very convenient. The room was sub par. Stains on carpet, door in poor condition, hooks on wall with no picture. Room in general is in very very poor condition. More attention to the rooms would be more advantageous than the other areas of the Safari Club. We would not typically reserve a room at a Best Western but in this case we wish we had.

Hotel needs a facelift

Beds were comfortable, water was hot. Air conditioning was loud and not very comfortable. Hall and stairways were not clean. Shower curtain was stained.

We chose to eat in the Safari Lounge, and had a horrible dinner experience! The service was horrible, and the food not much better...poorly trained staff, tend to lead to bad experiences for the customers!!
