Great location

Great location in Shinjuku! Room was well thought out, many little details to make your stay comfortable. Handy flyers to show you were to go, what to eat, sights to see. Close to everything you could need. Shower is compact as you’d expect but the pressure was phenomenal. The bed was two twin together so I was on a weird slope that bothered me. Only other complaint was an advert I could hear out the front that played every few minutes, 24hrs a day. Hearing the same guitar riff drove us crazy so we got earplugs. A lot of the other rooms faced away so this wouldn’t be a problem every time

Room is pretty spacious considered the price paid. Location is convenient, walkable distance to metro stations to travel around Tokyo. Staffs are friendly as well.

The smell in the room (and in the lobby and hallways) from the hotel restaurant was a very strong curry smell and extremely off putting. We moved rooms after one night, the staff was very understanding and helpful. The room was extremely small and we were expecting that, however, the bathroom felt like an afterthought to the room, and we felt like we were in an RV on a camping trip. It was tighter than expected, tighter than an airplane bathroom. If you want to be in the heart of Shinjuku and all the action, then this is a good location at a good price. We were uncomfortable the whole time and would not go back.

All great except the smoke smell

Room reeked of cigarette smoke. Other than that, everything was satisfactory. Just my room smelled like an ash tray so I had to keep the window open all the time and keep messing with the heat to keep the temperature regulated. In this day and age, a smoke smelling room just isn’t acceptable. Do better there.

This place was nice! It was really close to the Toho Cinema, Godzilla Head, and Kabukicho. I can walk out at anytime and find myself in the night life and food. Its close to Shinjuku by a 15min walk. Its looks like an older building, there is no public bath, laundry nor ice machine which is inconvenient. I regret not booking the other Apa Hotel which was a 3min walk from this location! Overall I would stay here if it was a short stay.. I need my laundry washer/dryer.
