Enjoyed my stay. Only had 1 elevator and seemingly no stairs so it was a bit hectic during the night and the rush hours. There seemed to be a pre-scheduled black out every other day, ie electricity, maintenance, etc and the hotel would announce to stay out of the room during those times which was somewhat inconvenient. Otherwise I enjoyed the stay and would do again.
The staff are patient, polite, and go out of their way to accomodate you. After checkout they stored my luggage until later in the day so I did was free to go explore without dragging my luggage around. Highly recommend staying here!!

Good location but very small rooms
I booked this hotel at the last minute and did not realize that it was in a red light district. Nevertheless it is at a vibrant place, with lots of places to eat and shop. The room is small and the bathroom too. The rooms are cleaned every three days but they leave a bag with towel changes etc daily. The problem is that there is only one lift and the lift is very slow. Breakfast was limited though the people at the restaurant are really sweet. In view of the recent incident with another APA hotel, I recommend that they improve on the lift security. As is, if someone has tapped for the lift, anyone else can get in.
The room was very small, I thought it would be ok, but it was very cramped, especially the bathroom. The shower was so small I could hardly turn around. But otherwise this was a great location, close enough to all the night life, but just about half a block away from most of the noise which was great. Overall, I think we should’ve spent a little more money on something with more space, but it was a nice stay and we enjoyed the city.
Our landing point to our Japan trip, Shinjuku hits all the senses really hard upon arrival, especially on a drizzly night. The hotel is right in the thick of it, and everything, and I mean literally everything, is right there. The room was small even by Japanese standards, but modern and functional. The staff were great and helpful.
I'd have to say that this is not the most desirable location to stay at - Shinjuku on the 'east side' of the tracks is a bit 'seedy'......red light type district. However, the room and place was fine. The breakfast was excellent and they make you omelets/ fried eggs - even pancakes! Only one elevator which was a bit congested, but overall a good place for the mid level mkt.
Great location right smack in the middle of Shinjuku neighborhood. Convenient transportation options less than 10 minute walk in multiple directions. Rooms were small if you're expecting western-style room accommodations, but were completely serviceable for my 4 day visit. The staff was helpful and always available.
The unexpected jewel was the restaurant attached to the hotel; open 24 hours, affordable breakfast buffet with many options, and amazing lunch and dinner selections for lovers of Indian food.
