Sotetsu fresa inn gave me everything i wanted. I stayed 3 nites. I asked the staffs about 5 times for services and each time they found what i needed within 2 minutes. The location is super convenient.. right on top of higashi shinjuku station. Within 3 minutes walk there is a supermarket. The facility is super modern.. very compact and very well designed

Location was very convenient to subway stations, convenience atores, restaurants and nearby sightseeing areas. The hotel offered ammenities that you could take on your way up to the room. The rooms were clean and offered towel changing and/or housecleaning if notified by 12pm. Check in and check out were on the kiosks in front of the feont sesk and convenient to use.

The room was not as clean given the high standard of cleanliness Japan has, the AC ducts had dust in them and the shower curtains in our room had molds. For the price we paid, i think there are better options in Shinjuku.

It is a nice place and great location. Dont be deceived by the photos though, the rooms are SMALL and be prepared to no fans! We were there first week of December and they do have AC and what seemed to be a fan unit but it didn't really moved air, so if you are used to having air moving you may find it a bit hard to cope. If you dont mind then its great!

The location was convenient and we enjoyed our 5 night stay at this hotel. The carpet needs to be updated, as it looked like it was from the 1970’s, and in fact, the carpet in our room had multiple bleached areas. I commend the hotel for having washers and dryers on two floors, and we liked the ability to see if the machines are available on the television. The bathroom was a good size compared to the other hotels we stayed at in Japan. However, I think that safety handles just outside the bathtub would be a good addition for one to grab onto, especially when one’s feet are wet.

The room was clean and very nice. The soaking tub was wonderful the first night, nice and hot as the second night, barely lukewarm. It was not comfortable. The staff was extremely accommodating and very friendly. I appreciated them very much. The air conditioning and heat function very well.

This is a good well run hotel Rooms not very big bathrooms a real squeeze and rooms could do with a bit more light. But great staff good restaurant attached and a good location between Shinjuku and Koreatown but not as crowded an area. Metro next door a plus even if not the most frequent service.
