Book Premier Inn Waltham Cross accommodation from NZ$180

The location of this Hotel is excellent situated between Big Ben across the Thames next to the London Eye.. The room was clean, with a typical old English shower, slightly bigger than a phone booth. I thought the "suite" was designed poorly with the bathroom situated between the king bed on one side with a "roll out sofa bed" on the other, which was quite uncomfortable for my 71 year old body on the other side. I was traveling with a friend so the configuration isn't workable. When I made the booking I requested a room with twin beds. We asked to be moved to just a twin bed but was told we were ungraded to a suite; our request was denied and was told they would split the king bed by about 6 inches. If you want personal privacy this hotel is not for you. If you are traveling with a small family it provides privacy you would like. As a single traveler usually with friends and not a significant other this hotel is not for you. A thumbs up on the breakfast buffet and kitchen staff and an ice machine on every floor,

If you want to watch the TV in your room ‘We are upgrading the system sorry” The problem but it’s in every room and its all the terrestrial channels and the sky channels are intermittent.’ Hotel excuse not mine

The Tower Hotel is in a great location. Right now the hotel is under renovation, so that is why only 4 stars. We stayed 5 nights and had a view of the harbor. There are lots of restaurants in the area to try. It is an easy walk to the Tower Bridge and the Tower of London. London is an awesome city.
