Guests driving to the property should be aware of seasonal road closures. Hwy 120 (Tioga Pass) closes October through late June, restricting east-to-west travel across the park. Yosemite's eastern gate and Tuolumne Meadows are not accessible when Tioga Pass is closed. Guests are advised to check local weather and road conditions/closures with the California Department of Transportation before travel.

Our cottage wasn't the cleanest, there was mold on the ring sealing the tub to the side wall. The carpet needed a good shampoo, there was some dirty spots the size of baseballs. The dresser was missing a knob. Kids didn't seem to care as we spent the majority of our time at the club house. There is ice skating, archery movies while you swim, hot tobs an arcade and plenty of other activities for the kids to do. The majority of the activities are at no charge to guest that stay at the hotel. Everyone was a delight, very helpful and courteous. Did I mention the huge fire pits, that you can make s'mores on, and they supply the ingredients! I would definitely come again but would opt to stay at the hotel rather than a cottage. Plus 24hour shuttle service to the club house to your cottage.

The room was clean, every staff member we met was so friendly and welcoming. We loved our suite on the " adults only" floor. The fires were great in the lobby and out front. The morning guided hike was great! The gift shop ladies and Angela in Concierge was terrific.

I am writing regarding my recent booking. I called ahead due to severe weather conditions to either cancel or reschedule my stay. During that call, I was led to believe that I would be able to receive a refund or at least make changes to the reservation. Unfortunately, the weather made it impossible for us to complete our trip. After traveling four hours, the visibility on the road became so poor that continuing would have been unsafe. Given the circumstances, I’m disappointed that I was not offered a refund or even a hotel credit as a courtesy. I’m requesting that you reconsider this situation. The conditions were completely out of my control, and I acted responsibly by notifying you in advance. A credit or refund would be a fair resolution.
