The whole building was very clean, Courteous, professional and very friendly staff, perfectly located with in walking distance of restaurants, beach, wine tasting and shopping--at the same time comfortable and quiet. We loved our stay and the extra free treats! Definitely we will be back soon!

This hotel is a gem if you are looking for a botique style stay. The design is colorful with a lot of attention to details. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Everything is clean. The service is extremely friendly and welcoming. There are a number of complimentary food servings during the day in the common area (morning croissants, afternoon wine tasting, etc.).

Book the stay immediately, stop looking around, this is the place. If you want relaxation, romantic and chill, this is the place. The staff is friendly, the room stole the show though. Fireplace, jacuzzi tub, Egyptian sheets, complimentary wine/snacks, the DVD/24-hour snack pantry, the daily complimentary snacks/beverages in the hotel kitchen - you name it, we were pampered. Can't wait to come back!

Weird experience here. I stayed on my way to LA and it was an impulse booking. I was greeted with a very unfriendly staff at reception. The hotel and room are dated but clean. There was no shampoo and the shower water temp was lukewarm so it made for a less than enjoyable morning. The staff later was kind and offered treats in the lobby which I appreciated. Won't stay here again

A great place to stay for adults! Our room was clean and snacks are provided for free. There was a room to either exchange the snacks for different ones or buy extra snacks. That same room also provides movies to borrow and chairs to take to the beach. There are several times to get food for free. It was so much fun.

Phenomenal location, room, and staff. I cant wait to return over the summer. The location is perfect, near many wine tasting options, great food options, and literal minutes walking distance from the beach. The staff went above and beyond and they offer multiple socials throughout the day from hors d'oeurves and wine to salsa and mexican beer and dessert at 8pm. Our place was spotless and everyone was so warm. I eagerly look forward to coming here again

Like stepping back in time to an era of full custom service. Hand prepared charcuterie board in the room with a bottle of champagne on arrival, grab and go snacks and drinks, happy hour cocktail and snacks, late night pie, and friendly smiles. Honestly haven’t seen that in decades. Why stay in SLO when this is right down the road in a splendid coastal setting.

What a wonderful surprise was the La Fonda Hotel from the delightful check in staff to the “goodie” basket and all the receptions. The room was immaculate and the bed most comfortable. The hotel was just decorating for Christmas which gave it a magical atmosphere. The staff was to helpful and so eager to please. The location of the hotel is excellent to restaurants, wine tasting and walks on the beach. We highly recommend a stay at this lovely, cozy beach town hotel.
