Every time we visit Catalina, we make sure to stay at this place. It’s one of our absolute favorites! After our wedding, we decided to have a mini moon because our big honeymoon to Thailand isn’t until January. So, my husband suggested that as long as we stay at Bellanca, I’m all set for a mini moon in Catalina.

I was extremely disappointed with our room location. The hotel placed our room in the worst possible location. It was advertised as a "courtyard view," but in reality, it was tucked away in the far back corner of the property, right next to what appeared to be a staff maintenance or maid’s shack. It felt like we were placed in a four-walled box with zero atmosphere or comfort. The only window in the room looked directly at a blank wall—no natural light, no view, nothing remotely resembling a courtyard. When I brought the issue up and politely requested a room change, I was told no other rooms were available, despite the hotel not appearing fully booked. It felt like we were given the leftover room no one else wanted. The location of the hotel itself was convenient, which is the only real positive I can mention. However, this does not compensate for the inaccurate description of the room and the lack of consideration for a legitimate concern. I paid for a "courtyard room," not a gloomy corner with a view of a wall and a utility shed. The description was deceptive and conveyed a sense of deceit. Overall, I left feeling frustrated and dissatisfied.

We stayed in a cabana room with a balcony and loved it! Great room, great bed and great location! My only complaint is that was no Internet. * they do offer free internet but it does not work and there the service on the island itself is spotty.
