Hotel door exterior to the street was never locked, though it was supposed to be at 10pm. Carpet needs to be replaced.

I like the area, quiet, staff nice responsible. I didn't like the old dirty carpet smells dirty , my daugher had allergies , sneezing all day , and the room pictures were not the same as those on the website; the room charge was costly for having no view, and the room needed remolding not the sane as pictures.

We had a mixed experience at Catalina Island Inn. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful—they really made us feel welcome. However, the room itself had a few issues: the shower and toilet didn’t work properly, and we found food stains on the bedsheets that had been tucked in, which was disappointing. Great service, but the cleanliness and maintenance could definitely use some attention.

General information

The hotel was built in the 1800, no elevator so we had to walk four flight of stairs. With our luggage, had a great view of the bay.

Charming litte hotel, close to shopping and restau

Cute rooms. I like the vintage charm of the hotel. That means smaller showers at least in my room but was clean and well air conditioned. Appreciate they let us leave our bags behind the desk until our ferry depature.

Great View, No Elevator

The image in the picture showing the amazing view is the room we stayed in. There are only 3 or 4 rooms with the amazing ocean view and if your not in one of these rooms you could be looking at a wall. We had a wakeup when we discovered that this room is on the 4th floor and no elevator or bell person. You have to carry your luggage up and down yourself. Not the most pleasant so my rating is low for that. However, the view was spectacular. also reduced my score because not only was the hook on the back of the bathroom door falling off but when I asked to have it fixed it was not fixed. We are not young so the stairs were a bit of an issue.

20 minutes after we checked out I realized I left a very nice water bottle in the room, I came back and the room was being cleaned. The person cleaning the room said there was no bottle but I was sure my bottle was there. I went to talk to customer service, the guy in customer service went up to the room and found it on top of the closet shelf. I did not use the closet, I left the bottle in the bathroom countertop and someone put it there for whatever reason. He handle me the bottle and said: you left it on the top shelf of the closet, I said no I didn’t it someone put it there and he answered: well you have it now. Sorry but someone in your hotel could be hiding things to take home later

Stayed here before. Nice. Only problem is lots of stairs, no elevator. Our room was on 4th floor and my knee was giving out a bit. Other than that, check in, room all was good!
