Cozy little place. Room was very clean, fully stocked with extra towels and pillows. Staff was super friendly. Great view of the lake. We came during winter so there was a snow play area on the property that was easily accessible. Can’t beat the price to top it off. Only 3 miles from Bear mtn resort. I would defiantly book again.

Nice place to stay for a weekend of skiing and to enjoy the snow. The rooms are clean, spacious and bathroom is very large (perfect to store skiing gear). The kids enjoyed playing near the lake and conveniently there is a kids playground nearby. Very close to Snow Summit and walking distance from couple of restaurants. We love Vintage Lakeside Inn.
The beds moved so much; you could feel yr heart beating on the other side. I woke up at least 5 times. All 4 of us got a terrible nights sleep, just bc of the beds. No black out curtains either.. At least we were warm. But the next day was miserable and everyone was grumpy bc we all needed naps.
Interactions with the staff were pleasant. Had everything we needed for a brief stay with our kids and it conveniently located close to Snow Summit and the Village.
The staff is incredibly kind and knowledgeable about the area. Easy check in, super clean rooms and very spacious. Parking was easy and there’s a nice restaurant on the property with a lake view. 12/10, will stay again!
Good location, quick checkin and check out, you can walk to the lake or to the village, we went for family weekend trip for snow resorts. Would come back.
Lady at front desk at check in was not very friendly! Room is old. Toilet did not flush well. Paint was falling off the ceiling. Room had a musty odor. Overall everything is old and needs remodeling.

Disliked: Cleanliness
Dirty! Dirty! Dirty!
Everything was average except that the place was filthy! It needs a deep cleaning.
The hotel was nice, very clean, close proximity to the village, but not walking distance. It’s located right on the shores of Lake. It was a little bit pricey, but it was also peak season. I don’t offered really any amenities, but they have a barbecue grill area which is probably nice in the warmer months. For the price, they should offer at least free coffee and some basic breakfast.

We had the most incredible stay at this charming vintage lakeside inn! The views of Big Bear Lake just walking distance and it’s absolutely stunning, and the peaceful setting made it the perfect escape from city life.
The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect.
If you're looking for a unique and relaxing getaway, this inn is an absolute must.
We had a very nice 3-night stay before Christmas! The staff was great, rooms were clean and spacious. It was close enough to the Village that we could walk. There was a nice restaurant on the lake near the hotel. We had a kitchenette too so we made our own food (keeping the trip more affordable) Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.
