Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed. However the TV was lacking in options (it is hard to believe you don’t have Netflix access or some other apps) and the main TV had a shadow coming down from the top left corner. The fridge leaked some water on to the floor. Also as our room faced Elizabeth St the live music from Irish Murphy’s was quite noisy until midnight each night.

The hotel’s lobby is a lovely homage to the art deco style and the connected restaurant, Donna Chang, is stunning! The room was spacious and well appointed for a long stay (good kitchen, laundry, etc.). The area is also fun if you want to get a feel for older Brisbane. Would stay again!

Wonderful stay

Wonderful stay. We had a very roomy 2 bedroom apartment with the kids. Staff were wonderful, and gave us a welcome gift for our wedding anniversary! parking also the cheapest amongst the city hotels, and in the building. Will be my preferred hotel choice in Brisbane

This is a gorgeous renovated old building. Our 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment was lovely. Tv in each bedroom. Tiny kitchenette but enough as there are good food options nearby. Great location near Southbank and the city. Disappointing that we were arriving on Anzac Day and we weren't notified that the Anzac march was closing down the city and in particular the street the hotel is on. We had to walk 4 blocks with all our luggage. Don’t plan to get there before checkin as unlikely room will be ready. They did have good storage while we went off and explored. I would stay there again for its location and beautiful building.
