Only negative thing

The only negative was after the initial entry, the door would not open with the key card. It had to be manually unlocked when trying to access the room after being out. Only went out twice, but very inconvenient

I love staying at good night in. last stay there were bugs/gnats crawling around the refrigerator. I will still stay there again though it’s still nicer than most in that price range.

The staff was nice but the room smelled old, visibly it was a clean room but it smelled like dirt or something. The bed was very hard as well. But it was affordable.

Overall poor

Phone was unplugged for some reason baseboard was ripped and sticking out to cause an injury I had to reset the air conditioner by myself just a horrible experience

Room was clean with adequate and clean linen but rather sparsely appointed. No coffee in room or within easy walking distance. No microwave. Neighborhood a little sketchy. Wouldn't walk the hood at night and probably not alone during the day. But clean and fairly quiet other than road noise. Pool was closed.

The woman who works in the lobby in the morning has the worst attitude I've ever seen at any hotel. She doesn't try to please you and is unpleasant. We also asked to leave two suitcases in storage a couple of hours after checkout, but she said no and that the hotel didn't mind helping with that, that it was the guests' problem.

The night we checked in the clerk was very rude. I asked about a downstairs room non where available. I went to the room and there were no towels. I went back to the front desk and was offered towels meant for the floor. I took it for the floor. I asked if there is anybody can give towels she said no one and I just have to deal with it. I left and used towels from my car. The entire trip. I didn’t ask anymore for fear of retaliation from the front desk. I am from Oxnard and I visited. They were very rude, I am a disabled veteran and non of it matters to them. Whoever works that night shouldn’t be in the hotel business. She was rude, condemns ending and insulting maybe because I have a very strong Asian accent.
